About the Kiwanis Club of Hopewell

A century of service to Hopewell City
and Prince George County.

Our Story

Built by neighbors, for neighbors

The Kiwanis Club of Hopewell was organized on November 20, 1924, and chartered on January 8, 1925. For more than a century we've been part of the fabric of this community — neighbors, business owners, and community leaders who believe the best way to build a stronger town is to invest in its young people.

Today the club has around 30 members and belongs to Division 10 of the Heart of Virginia District of Kiwanis International. Our work is local, but we're part of something much larger: Kiwanis clubs around the world serve children in their own communities every day.
